Mitchell B. Friedman has represented plaintiffs in matters of serious personal injury since 1999. His concentration includes wrongful death claims, work place injuries, construction site negligence, premises liability, automobile negligence and product’s liability. Mr. Friedman has successfully recovered many millions of dollars for his clients through verdicts and settlements, including multi-million dollar jury verdicts. In the courts, Mr. Friedman has experience as an extern for the Honorable Morton Denlow, Magistrate Judge in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and as a law clerk for the Honorable Lester D. Foreman in the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Chancery Division. As a Certified Mediator from the Center for Conflict Resolution, he mediated disputes between litigants in the Circuit Court of Cook County.

Mr. Friedman attained the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. He attended New Trier High School, The Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and received his J.D. from ITT/Chicago-Kent College of Law. Academic distinctions include receiving the award for “Best Business Plan” in an advanced business Entrepreneurship class; a CALI (formerly Am Jur) award for “excellent achievement in the study of pretrial litigation”; and, a received a certificate from the Program in Litigation and Alternate Dispute Resolution. He has been a member of The American Bar Association and its Section of Litigation, the American Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and The Chicago Bar Association. Mr. Friedman’s charitable involvement includes the Illinois Bar Foundation, the Jewish Children’s Bureau, and the Young Leadership division of the Holocaust Remembrance Committee. He lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and two children.
